Where will you be on November 21st? If you don’t say the Music and Arts Festival, you’re wrong, but I can help with that.
From 5-7 P.M., the HHS Courtyard will be filled with music performed by local artists, members of the HHS Choir, and anybody else who wants to perform. While they perform, local artists of all types will sell one-of-a-kind goods, making perfect gifts for Christmas only a month away. Admission costs $5.00, going straight to the HHS Choir, who will use the money to pay for things like sheet music and audition fees. No matter whether you’re a Freshman or Senior, HHS or GHS student, choir kid or football kid, the Music and Arts Festival is the place to be.
In an interview, Emily Halbrooks, the Secretary of the HHS Choir Board, said, “The Music and Arts Festival is special because it brings together the HHS Choir community — past and present — in a way that supports our students and celebrates creativity. It’s not just about music; it’s about building connections and keeping the arts thriving here at HHS.”
