About The Red and Blue

The Red and Blue is the official student-run news publication of Huntsville High School. As the central hub of HHS Journalism, we report on school events, sports, academics, arts, and student life to inform, engage, and represent our community. Our mission is to uphold the highest standards of journalistic integrity while providing students a platform for authentic expression and responsible storytelling.

Editorial Policy

The Red and Blue operates as a public forum for student expression. Students create and write all articels and content, in accordance with the principles of free speech and press guaranteed by the First Amendment and supported by the Student Press Law Center. Opinions expressed in editorials, columns, or letters are those of the individual writers and do not necessarily reflect the views of the staff, adviser, or Huntsville High School administration.

We strive for accuracy, fairness, and balance in our reporting. Errors will be corrected promptly when brought to our attention. All published material, including articles, photos, and graphics, is the original work of staff members unless otherwise credited.
